Flight Systems Gets Contracts to Train U.S. Air Force Pilots

Flight Systems Inc., a Newport Beach subsidiary of Tracor Inc., said it has been awarded two separate five-year contracts, totaling $17.2 million, to provide tactical training to U.S. Air Force pilots stationed in Japan and Korea.

FSI owns and operates a number of military-type aircraft and provides comprehensive testing, aircraft modification, electronics manufacturing and special services for a broad range of government and commercial customers.

“FSI pilots have been flying high-performance aircraft for six years providing target-training services to support Air Force air-to-air training programs worldwide,” said Stuart C. Warrick Jr., group vice president of Tracor Flight Systems.
