2 Security Pacific Branches Robbed
Two Orange County branches of Security Pacific National Bank were robbed Tuesday.
Anaheim police said about $1,000 was taken Tuesday morning in the first holdup, at Euclid Street and Katella Avenue in Anaheim. He was described by witnesses as white, about 25, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with light-brown hair. He fled in a blue Camaro, police said.
Tuesday afternoon a man waited in line at the bank’s Main Street branch in Huntington Beach, presented a note to the teller and escaped with $620, police said. He was described as white, about 38, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 180 pounds, with a dark mustache and thick eyeglasses.
Police said it appeared that the holdups were the work of two different individuals.
