Circuit City plans to open 10 Bay Area stores.

The Richmond, Va.-based electronics chain has agreed to purchase leasehold interests in seven retail stores in Northern California and is negotiating leases on three additional sites. The company expects to remodel the locations and open seven new stores in the first half of 1987 and the remaining three soon thereafter.
