Rams Join in Anti-Drug Program

The Los Angeles Rams and the U.S. attorney’s office have announced the creation of a drug-awareness program to be offered to senior high schools in Southern California.

The one-hour program, entitled “It Can’t Happen to Me,” will be presented at assemblies and will feature speakers from the U.S. attorney’s office, a Rams player and experts on drug education and drug abuse.

The program debuted at Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach Wednesday.

“We believe all children should be aware of the dangers and tragedy of drug abuse,” said Rams owner Georgia Frontiere. “The Rams are committed to the eradication of this problem and feel this series of programs will be a giant step in that direction.”
