Animal Rights Activists Arrested at Yale’s Hunt

ASHFORD, Conn. — Four animal rights activists who performed a play mocking Yale University’s Thanksgiving Day deer hunt were arrested Thursday for harassing hunters at the school’s forest, officials said.
About 50 animal rights proponents gathered at Yale’s 7,800-acre forest preserve in northeastern Connecticut where the annual hunt to reduce the growing deer herd opened hunting season in Connecticut, officials said.
