NBC Tops Ratings 10th Week

NEW YORK — It was definitely a time for Thanksgiving last week for NBC, which pulled out a squeaker over CBS to extend its win streak in the Nielsen ratings to 10 weeks, the longest for any network in 23 years.

NBC had an average rating of 15.9, CBS had a 15.6 and ABC had 13.1. NBC’s season-to-date average rating is 18.5, CBS’ 15.9 and ABC’s 14.3. NBC won the news ratings with a 12.9 to CBS’ 11.2. ABC trailed with a 10.4. NBC said it was the first time it had won the news ratings by such a large margin since March of 1967.
