A Busy Basketball Slate for Women

The Cal State Long Beach women’s basketball team, coming off a third-place finish in the USC tournament last weekend, will play host to Arizona State tonight at 7:30 in the University Gym. The 49ers, ranked seventh in the nation, are 1-1. The Sun Devils, after winning the Dial Tournament in Tempe, Ariz., are 2-0.
Pepperdine (1-1), which finished third in the Converse Tournament at Cal State Fullerton, will play UCLA tonight at 7:30 at Firestone Fieldhouse in its home opener. The Bruins (1-0) defeated UC Irvine Sunday night. The game will be televised live by Prime Ticket.
