Cerritos : ABC Board Chief Named
Under its annual reorganization, the ABC Unified School District Board of Education elected Elizabeth Hutcheson as its new president. Her term will end in December, 1987.
Hutcheson, who has been on the seven-member board since 1979, replaces Peggy Lee.
This is the second time Hutcheson has been named president. She was also chosen in 1982.
Board member Homer Lewis, also elected in 1979, was selected as vice president, and Catherine Grant, who has served since 1985, was chosen as clerk.
In another action, the board voted to change its regular meeting time from the first and third Mondays at 7 p.m. to Tuesdays at the same time, beginning Feb. 3.
The change allows the board to have more time to review agendas and staff members to do additional research.
