Two Killed in Crash of Navy Attack Jet in Oregon
OAK HARBOR, Wash. — A Navy A-6E aircraft crashed Friday at the Boardman bombing range in eastern Oregon, killing the two crew members aboard, a Navy spokeswoman said. The attack plane was based at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station at Oak Harbor, about 60 miles north of Seattle.
