Alia-Royal Jordanian Airlines has a pair of discounts going. Under one you can get a free one-way ticket to Vienna, Amsterdam, the Middle East or the Far East if you buy one full-fare ticket. No advance purchase or minimum stay is needed. You and your companion would have to leave together, but you can return on different flights.

The offer is valid until May 31, 1987. Both return flights have to be no later than Aug. 31, 1987.

Alia has also extended until Feb. 28 its offer of a $100 Ya Hala discount on round-trip flights, using any fare, to any of its Middle Eastern destinations that include Amman, Cairo, Damascus, Kuwait and Riyadh. Your tickets have to be issued by Dec. 31 to get this discount, which doesn’t apply during the Dec. 15-31 period.
