AirCal Reports Strong November Traffic
AirCal on Monday reported November traffic of 196.6 million revenue passenger miles, an increase of 33% over November, 1985. A revenue passenger mile is one paying customer carried one mile.
Available seat miles totaled 387 million, up 39.6%, and load factor for the month, or the percentage of seats filled, was 50.8%, down from 53.3%. Passenger boardings were up 18.4% to 426,164.
For the first 11 months of 1986, AirCal reported revenue passenger miles of 2 billion, an increase of 19.8%, and available seat miles of 3.8 billion, up 26.9%. Load factor was 53.4%, down 3.1 points, and passenger boardings increased 12.8% to 4.6 million.
