Kings Risk Streak Against Islanders

NEW YORK — The Kings will bring their soaring confidence and their four-game winning streak to Long Island tonight where they play the New York Islanders in Nassau Coliseum.
The Kings are 12-14-2 and inching toward their avowed goal of .500. If they can win both games on this trip--they will play the Rangers Wednesday night--the Kings will have achieved the goal.
The first game won’t be easy, though. The Islanders (14-11-2) are a solid third in the Patrick Division and usually play well against the Kings.
