A van rolled over and burst into flames on the Riverside Freeway, but its driver--whose name was not available--escaped from the burning wreckage unharmed, Corona fire officials reported. The driver’s safe exit was “amazing,” Fire Chief Robert McNabb said, “especially with all the traffic on the freeway . . . coming back in” from the mountains and desert. “The van was totaled,” McNabb said. The accident occurred Sunday night in the fast lane of the westbound California 91 between Lincoln Avenue and Maple Street in Corona.
