Women’s Basketball Roundup : Boise State Beats UC Irvine at the Free-Throw Line
The Boise State University women’s basketball team, behind guards Missy Dallas and Anne Jensvold, defeated UC Irvine, 52-49, Tuesday in a nonconference game at Boise, Ida.
Dallas had 13 points and Jensvold had 11. Boise State made 16 of 28 free-throw attempts. The Anteaters made 3 of their 11 free-throws tries. Cheryl Hoffman scored 14 points, and Natalie Crawford added 10 for Irvine.
In other action:
Southern California College 71, Christ College Irvine 57--Delores Effinger had 26 points and 13 rebounds to lead Southern California (4-5) at Costa Mesa. Suzy Vatcher led Christ College (2-8) with 17 points and 9 rebounds.
