Bell Gardens : Free New Year’s Eve Cabs

For the first time, the city will provide free taxicab service for Bell Gardens residents on New Year’s Eve.
The City Council unanimously approved the service Monday night, which will be provided by Day & Night Cab Co. between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m.
Passengers must sign a voucher that cab drivers will turn into the city for a $5 reimbursement, Community Services Director Steve Steinbrecher said.
Residents can call the company at 560-0111.
Boundaries for the service are between Randolph Street and Firestone Boulevard, and Old River School Road and Wilcox Avenue to the west.
