Seattle Seahawk strong safety Paul Moyer underwent surgery in Seattle’s Swedish Hospital after suffering a ruptured testicle in his team’s 41-16 victory over Denver on Saturday.
Moyer suffered the injury when he was kicked, Seahawk Coach Chuck Knox said.
Moyer, who took over as Seattle’s starting strong safety after Ken Easley underwent ankle surgery, returned to the game after he was injured. Moyer’s injury initially was described by the Seahawks as strained abdominal muscles.
