Embassy Suites Sets June Opening at Anaheim Site

Embassy Suites says it expects to open its 224-room Anaheim hotel by June.

Completion of the Anaheim hotel, the company’s fourth project in Orange County, will give Embassy Suites 1,033 rooms in Orange County.

Dallas-based Embassy Suites opened its 308-room hotel in Santa Ana in December, 1985. Sacon Construction Co. of Fountain Valley, which completed the interior of the Santa Ana hotel, is general contractor for the $20-million Anaheim project, which is just off the Riverside Freeway near Glassell Street.

In addition to its hotels in Santa Ana, Irvine and Buena Park, Embassy Suites has 67 other hotels in 22 states with 20 more under construction. All of the hotel’s units are suites.
