Protected Status of Grizzlies in Montana

Share

Wave goodby to the grizzlies, world! Frank Dunkle, the director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, has greased the skids to their extinction.

The gas and oil interests have many powerful voices in high places; our fast-diminishing wildlife has few--and now one less. It is unconscionable that Dunkle has knuckled under to these special interest groups by considering removal of grizzlies from the Endangered Species Act and throwing open hundreds of thousands of acres of wildlife habitat to exploitation--in direct opposition to the purpose of his office.

We have set the fox to guard the henhouse!
