Spanish Traffic Toll Down

MADRID —
Thirty-five people died in New Year’s Day accidents on Spanish roads, taking the number killed since the holiday season began Dec. 19 to 206, 19 fewer than during the same period of 1985, the Transport Ministry said Friday.
