Lotto Jackpot Goes Unclaimed
A Lotto 6/49 jackpot of $6.5 million will roll over into next week’s pool because no one picked the six winning numbers in the weekend draw, California Lottery officials have announced. The $997,000 second prize also went unclaimed since no one picked five of six correct numbers plus the bonus number.
There were 120 ticket holders who guessed five of six numbers right, entitling them to $4,281 each. In the four-of-six category, 6,817 ticket holders won $68 each. And, in the three-of-six category, worth $5 per ticket, there were 130,094 winners. Lottery sales for the week totaled more than $9.3 million.
