Simone LeVant, captain of Stanford’s women’s diving team, filed suit against the NCAA, charging her constitutional right to privacy has been violated by the organization’s insistence that she submit to a drug test.
LeVant, 21, who said that “the NCAA program punishes those who stand up for their rights to privacy and dignity,” is seeking a restraining order that would permit her to participate in a competition on Jan. 23.
