Reagan Budget’s ‘Warped Vision’
How long will the American people and Congress buckle under to the President and his misguided trillion-dollar budget that once again deteriorates the American way of life?
Reductions in aid to the poor, health care for the elderly. Cuts in food stamps, welfare and social security but increases in military spending and foreign aid. When will our President and Congress come to their senses and recognize the needs of the American people as above the needs of war and foreign aid?
Will Congress once again buckle under and give our President most of what he wants and once again forget our own American poor and elderly people? Our new year’s resolution to Congress is: Let us not forget our own first and do what is essential to preserve the welfare and dignity of the American people at home.
