All-American linebacker Brian Bosworth said there’s a good chance he will stay at Oklahoma next season rather than turn pro.

“If I had to make a decision today, I’d stay in college,” he said after an appearance on NBC’s “Late Night With David Letterman.” “I’d like to stay where I’m comfortable, and right now that’s Oklahoma.”

Bosworth said he will make his decision by April 13, the last day college players can notify the NFL of their intention to bypass their final year of eligibility. The flamboyant Sooner is scheduled to graduate in May but could play another season at Oklahoma because he was redshirted his first year.

On Jan. 5, Switzer said he didn’t want Bosworth to return for his senior season. Switzer changed his mind the next day after Bosworth apologized for his behavior during the past season. The NCAA banned Bosworth from the Orange Bowl after he tested positive for steroid use.
