Pasadena : Site Acquisition Approved
The Board of Directors has unanimously approved the $137,000 purchase of two pieces of property for the proposed Plaza Las Fuentes development.
The land, now owned by All Saints Episcopal Church, will be used for a parking structure for the proposed 1-million-square-foot hotel and office project, which will be built near Colorado Boulevard and Los Robles Avenue.
The city has agreed to pay the church another $50,000 for its loss of parking during construction and $25,000 to cover the costs of negotiating the land deal.
Construction of the $175-million project is scheduled to begin in July and to be completed in 1992.
