Cudahy : Housing Density Lowered

Share

In a move to control housing density in the mile-square city, the Cudahy City Council has voted to lower the allowable number of apartment or condominium units per acre from 12 to 10. The council vote was 4-0, with Councilman Gabriel Zippi abstaining. The restriction will take effect in 30 days.

“There have been many complaints about density,” City Manager Gerald Caton said. “We are already overcrowded in our schools. This is a small adjustment.”
