A new study, published by the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School of Communications, says that concerns about violence in rock videos have been “exaggerated,” adding that music videos don’t have as much violence or sex as network TV shows. The study’s figures showed that “about 75%” of all prime-time shows contain violence, compared to 56% of all “concept” videos.
