The feisty comedienne has a co-writing credit on “My Life,” the lead song from the current Pointers Sisters album, “Hot Together.” . . . And we have some good news for Tipper Gore and the Washington Wives. A new study, published by the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School of Communications, says that concerns about violence in rock videos have been “exaggerated,” adding that music videos don’t have as much violence or sex as network TV shows. The study’s figures showed that “about 75%” of all prime-time shows contain violence, compared to 56% of all “concept” videos.
