Local News in Brief : Tires on 25 Cars Are Slashed in Burbank
Burbank police Saturday were searching for the person or persons who slashed the tires on 25 cars in a Burbank neighborhood.
Lt. Don Brown said all the damaged cars were parked on an 18-block area of Kenneth Road between Cornell Drive and Scott Road. He said the tires were punctured by a sharp object between 11 p.m. Friday and 4:40 a.m. Saturday.
Brown said one tire was slashed on some cars and two on others. He said investigators would question residents in the area about any suspicious activity they may have noticed during the 5 1/2 hours.
“There’s a lot of upset people up there,” Brown said.
