Pacific Southwest Airlines flew a record 330.7 million revenue passenger miles during December, a 4.4% increase over December, 1985. However, PSA’s monthly load factor fell from 58.8% in 1985 to 50.3% this past December.
Passenger totals rose 2.9% to 818,000 during December, and yields were improved over 1985, which was marred by a “widespread” fare war, according to PSA.
