Allan H. Kurtzman, a former Max Factor executive who has been president of consumer products at Los Angeles-based Neutrogena Corp., is rejoining his former employer as president, Max Factor announced.
“I am delighted to be returning to Max Factor,” Kurtzman said in a statement. “I can’t imagine a more exciting time to be in this company.”
New York-based Max Factor & Co., along with the Almay and Halston fragrance lines, were sold last November by Playtex Holdings to Revlon Group for $345 million. Executives of Almay and Halston will report directly to Kurtzman in his new post.
Before joining Neutrogena, Kurtzman had been executive vice president and a director of Max Factor and had also been executive vice president of Revlon International.
