Valley View Baptist Church will welcome the Rev. Raymond Adams as its new pastor at a reception at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 18700 Roscoe Blvd., Northridge. Adams has been a pastor for 18 years, both in Oregon and California. He works as an office manager at McClellan Corp. and lives in Burbank with his wife, Vendalyn, and four children.
