Six Named to Hall of Fame at NAHB Meet

Six persons, including the late Duncan McDuffie of Berkeley, Calif., were named to the National Housing Hall of Fame during the 43rd annual convention of the National Assn. of Home Builders here last week.

In addition to McDuffie, who died in 1951, the 1987 honorees in the builder category were Herschel Green, Miami; Jesse A. Baker, San Antonio, Herman J. Smith of Fort Worth, and the late Marvin Volk of Tucson.

Named in the housing related category was David E. Link, Des Plaines, Ill., associate publisher of Professional Builder magazine and former real estate editor of the Milwaukee (Wis.) Sentinel. Link is a past president of the National Assn. of Real Estate Editors.

The housing hall of fame installation ceremonies will be held May 13 in Washington.
