Detroit TV station WXYZ is expected to broadcast the first condom ad commercial this morning as more stations across the country join the movement to accept the controversial ads. WXYZ-TV says it will run the first 30-second ad during the nationally syndicated “Oprah Winfrey Show.” WXYZ also plans to run the ad after 11:30 p.m. Stations in San Franciso, Indianapolis, Boston and Providence, R.I., also have decided to run condom ads.
