Local News in Brief : Car Falls Into Ravine; Driver Dies of Injuries
A Canyon Country man died Sunday when the car he was driving plunged 120 feet off a curving road near Agua Dulce, the California Highway Patrol said.
Ali R. Saraf, 35, was traveling west on Soledad Canyon Road west of Agua Dulce Road at 7:20 p.m. when his car careened across the eastbound lanes and fell off the roadway into a ravine, Officer Ralph Elvira said.
Saraf suffered major head and chest injuries and was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital where he died, Elvira said.
