Parrish Resigns as Chief Executive of Vitalmetrics

Vitalmetrics Inc.’s founder and chief executive John H. Parrish on Tuesday resigned abruptly from his management position. Parrish, who will remain a director of the San Diego-based medical electronics firm, said in a terse, prepared statement that he was going to “pursue another new venture.” Parrish could not be reached for comment.

Preston B. Plumb, president and chief operating officer of the company since January, 1985, will assume Parrish’s position.
