Iran Executes 2 Rebels

TEHRAN —
Two Kurdish rebels were executed in public in the northwestern Iranian town of Takab on charges of armed struggle and complicity in murder, the Islamic Republic newspaper said Tuesday. It said the men, members of the Kurdish Democratic Party, were executed in a sports stadium, but it did not give the method.
