A French motorcycle policeman has been charged with involuntary homicide in the death of a student after a demonstration in Paris last December, police sources said. They said that Christophe Garcia, 23, admitted being part of a group of officers who beat Malik Oussekine, 22, on the night of Dec. 5-6 during a student protest march against a government university reform bill. Oussekine died of a heart attack later.
