Actor Jan-Michael Vincent was found innocent of violating the terms of his probation, avoiding a 30-day jail term. Los Angeles County Court Commissioner Richard Brand ruled in Malibu that the actor had not violated the probation he was placed on in December, 1983, after pleading guilty to a drunk driving charge. In a second appearance in July, Vincent told Brand he was receiving alcoholism counseling.
