“Billy Crystal: Don’t Get Me Started.” Vestron. $59.95. Crystal’s HBO show won the comedy-writing prize at the Jan. 21 ACE (Awards for Cable Excellence) ceremony, and the video version is longer and even better. The first half of the 61-minute tape is a fake documentary a la “This Is Spinal Tap.” It brings together Crystal’s most famous characters--Fernando, Buddy Love, et al.--along with Rob Reiner, Eugene Levy and Brother Theodore to rehearse a music-comedy special. The hilariously ever-incensed Theodore disrupts everything, so Crystal winds up doing a solo stage act--which is fine, but seems a bit anticlimactic after the hilarious “yockumentary.” Information: (203) 968-0000. 1/2
