Local News in Brief : Sherman Oaks Slaying Believed Drug-Related
A33-year-old man who died Friday, after he was shot in a Sherman Oaks park, has been identified as Efream Zamir of Los Angeles, authorities said Saturday.
Police are looking for two men who witnesses said fled the scene shortly after the shooting.
Zamir was shot once in the lower body at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Park and Recreation Center in an incident that police said was probably drug-related.
Zamir died at Sherman Oaks Community Hospital Friday morning, a hospital spokeswoman said.
