Pepperdine Seeking First Win on Road
Pepperdine will try for its first road win of the season tonight when it plays a West Coast Athletic Conference game at Portland.
The Waves, 8-14 overall and in seventh place in the WCAC at 3-6, are 0-9 away from home this season.
When Portland (13-9, 5-4) faced the Waves at Malibu, freshman guard Greg Anthony scored 31 points to lead the Pilots to a 69-57 victory that snapped a streak of 10 straight losses to Pepperdine.
Saturday, the Waves play at Spokane against Gonzaga (15-7, 6-3), which lost to Pepperdine at Malibu, 87-78.
