Despite its upbeat emphasis, CBS’ “The Morning Show” had nothing to smile about Thursday, as last week’s ratings proved the lowest the new show has gotten in four weeks on the air. “The Morning Show,” which had a 3.1 rating its first week, averaged a 2.6 for the week ending Feb. 6. NBC’s “Today,” which spent last week in Australia, was easily the ratings winner with a 6.3 average. ABC’s “Good Morning America,” which last week originated from Hollywood, averaged a 4.5 rating, according to A.C. Nielsen Co. estimates. Each ratings point represents 874,000 homes.
