AND WAIT, THERE’S MORE: Sheila E. will be back in the record bins next week with a follow-up to last year’s “Romance 1600.” The album features her current single, “Hold Me,” as well as “Koo Koo” and “Soul Salsa,” an instrumental featuring the entire Escovedo clan, including Sheila, Pete (her dad) on timbales, Peter Michael (on drums), Juan E. (on bongos) plus Zina Ann and Juanita (her mom). The record also features a racy new number, titled “Boys Club,” which features such lyrics as: “Light-skinned boys think they’re so bad, they drink Evian and listen to jazz, at home they like symphonies, but when they’re at the club, it’s Sheila E.”
