The Media and Reagan
With regard to the Iran-arms matter, partisan politicians, others with axes to grind, and members of the news media, act like ravenous sharks in a feeding-frenzy.
They seem unconcerned about the long-term damage their unbridled and irresponsible attacks may do to the presidency, U.S. foreign policy, to our intelligence-gathering capabilities, and to the security of this nation, as long as they each get a bite, and exact their “pound of flesh.”
Meanwhile, the world watches--the Communists with glee, the free-world with sad bewilderment--as the vital functions of the greatest nation on earth threaten to self-destruct before their eyes.
