Louganis Is Upset in Three-Meter Event

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Mark Bradshaw upset Greg Louganis to win the three-meter springboard in the U.S. Diving American Cup II Saturday.
Louganis, who was third, had not lost a three-meter event since 1981. Bradshaw, of Columbus, Ohio, won with a score of 659.95. Patrick Jeffrey, also of Columbus, scored 657.25 and Louganis had 647.15.
Michele Mitchell of Mission Bay, Fla., won the women’s 10-meter platform event with a score of 389.25. She was followed by Alison Maisch of LSU at 358.10 and Mary Hummer of Mission Bay with 358.
