Renoir, 8 Other Works Stolen From Gallery

MAASTRICHT, Netherlands — Thieves stole nine paintings by European masters including Renoir and Breughel from a provincial art dealer’s gallery, police reported Wednesday.
The paintings, valued at $2.4 million were discovered missing Tuesday from the Noortman Art Gallery in Maastricht, near the Belgian border.
