The bodies of a pilot and a nurse were found Saturday in the wreckage of an ambulance plane that crashed nine miles southeast of Flagstaff Airport, authorities said.

Pilot Brian John Ehly, 27, and nurse Patricia Kroldart, 32, died in the Friday night crash. They were en route from Phoenix to Flagstaff to assist a woman suffering from pregnancy complications, said a spokesman for Samaritan Health Service, which operates Air-Evac flights.
