JAT-Yugoslav Airlines, which operates six flights from New York to Yugoslavia and three from Chicago, is beginning service between Los Angeles and Zagreb and on to Belgrade on May 2. Flights will be once a week on Saturdays at 6 p.m.

Air Afrique has begun direct, through-plane flights between New York and Liberia. Departures are Saturdays at 10:30 p.m.

Phoenix-based America West Airlines has inaugurated new daytime nonstop, round-trip service between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
