Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. of Rancho Palos Verdes has been elected president of the South Bay Assn. of Chambers of Commerce. Sullivan, a health-care consultant, represents the Harbor City Chamber of Commerce on the South Bay association’s board.
Robert A. Schmit of Rolling Hills has been elected president of the medical staff at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance. Schmit, an associate professor of surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and a counselor for the Los Angeles County Medical Assn., was graduated from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University of Chicago and completed internships at Los Angeles County General Hospital in 1954 and Long Beach Veterans Memorial Hospital in 1959.
