James Cox Kennedy, executive vice president of Atlanta-based Cox Enterprises, will succeed Garner Anthony as chairman of the communications company when Anthony retires as chairman and CEO at the end of the year.
William A. Schwartz, currently president and chief operating officer, will become president and CEO.
