Presidents’ Day

I agree wholeheartedly with Hyman H. Haves’ letter (Feb. 22) regarding the celebration of “Presidents’ Day.” To me “Presidents’ Day” has no meaning. We need to set aside two separate holidays for George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
We might not be able to take two days off from work but that would not prevent us from having a special day set aside for the father of our country and for the President who freed the slaves.
